Wrong Time In Pre Orders Email Confirmations
Easy Eats Richard
There is a bug in the email confirmation if the order is a pre-order. ASAP orders work as expected.
If a pre-order is made the wrong time is displayed on the email.
For example, if I make a pre-order for 3:45pm.
When the order changes to pending the prep time is added to the pre-order time so the customer receives email the that the order is scheduled for 3:55pm (because the prep time is 10 minutes) not 3:45pm,
It should say the scheduled time is 3:45pm not 3:55 Pm.
This is a basic requirement for customer to know the eta on when their order will be ready.
I have told the product team but they don't think it is a bug.....

Richard, I am impressed that you can deliver in 10min. Most of our customers are further away than that. I live in Mauritius and most of our customers are not that close. About 20 min. So when we have this issue, we say delivery time is 50min (30 min for the restaurant to prepare and 20min for us to get to the customer). So a customer who preorders for 18.00 is told that they will receive the order at 18.50. Even though they preordered. Sort this out ordering.co. You made a mistake in the update

A. Schatz: This is just a test order so thats why it says 10 minutes. Order refuse to fix this bug. I have complained to them but Ordering refuse to fix it.....Even though it is clearly a bug.

I have spoken to ordering.co about this and they told me that I would have to PAY to correct this. I told them that they obviously made a mistake in the update, but they said no. I would have to have custom service done to correct this. This update is VERY wrong. I have had customers cancel because they did not want to wait so long. I have had customers refuse to accept orders when we arrived with the food, saying that we were EARLY according to our email notification and that we should come back in 50min. I don't know why ordering.co will not take responsibility for something that is bad programming?
I am really not impressed by this update

A. Schatz: I have also had complaints from my customers and saying they will cancel the order. I was getting these calls almost daily.
Ordering product team refused to fix the bug. I paid for custom work to fix the bug (4 hours) which is ridiculous as they say bugs should be fixed.
